Accuread
Accuread operates throughout the UK, providing comprehensive metering, data management and support services to the utility industry. Accuread acquired a new building and with the aid of a design team transformed it into their new headquarters with future expansion of up to 200 additional staff.
The Challenge
UBI Ltd was successfully appointed by Corporate Workspace Ltd to project manage and deliver the installation of 350 workstations, storage and meeting and cafe areas. Through several discussions with Accuread it soon became apparent that UBI Ltd could offer enormous benefit to Accuread ensuring a smooth transition from installation to relocation and then onto a full office clearance of furniture at there old building. UBI Ltd successfully managed all other activities on site.
Our Solution
UBI Ltd provided a full project management service for the delivery and installation of all new furniture and equipment for the new site; we worked closely with Accuread and liaised with their department heads to determine a critical path for the relocation. UBI Ltd relocated approximtely 350 staff, which consisted of filing and IT plus other associated equipment from Accureads existing site to the new headquarters. UBI Ltd also managed the removal and recycle of Accureads redundant furniture and office waste from the old premises and completed with a full contract clean.
